Water Polo Summer Camp
Sign Up Now for Boys and Girls Water Polo Summer Camps!
Boys and Girls Summer Water Polo Camps will be held June 22 – July 31 at University High School.
In order to prepare for the 2015-16 high school water polo seasons and to build a successful athletic experience, it’s time to follow through with these tasks:
1. Register for Summer Camp on the UHS web site:
Boys register at http://unihigh.org/athleticcamps/bwaterpolo
Girls register at http://unihigh.org/athleticcamps/gwaterpolo
- Fill out the personal information web form at that site
- Print out the confirmation email and pay the $225 summer camp fee to Uni Athletics
- Fill out and turn in the required athletic packet forms (consent forms, medical forms, etc.).
Note that all of the above must take place before an athlete may participate in summer water polo on June 22.
2. Register HERE and pay $150 for Night Leagues
Night leagues are an extremely important component of off-season training and will co-occur with the summer camp. We will have opportunities for players at all levels. Coaches will provide more details on night league schedules.
3. Register for USA Water Polo to play in Night Leagues
Players must register with USA Water Polo to participate in night leagues and show the coach a copy of their valid USA Water Polo Card. Our players register at either the ‘Gold’ level (if they are also playing National Events) or ‘Seasonal – White’ if they are only playing high school summer leagues. Our athletes register with the club “International Water Polo Club” #15680.
4. Attend the New Players Parent Meeting
Come meet the coaches on June 10 at 6:00 pm on the Uni Pool Deck. During the meeting, Coach Bahram will outline camp goals, procedures and answer questions about aquatics in the coming year.
Varsity 6:00–9:00 am, JV 6:45-9:15 am, Frosh/Soph 8:00-10:00 am
The Athletics Department requires a physical bore your player can participate. Please download the Athletic Department forms from the Uni Athletics site. You can schedule an appointment with your family physician, or alternatively (because time is short), you may find an appointment at a minute-clinic convenient. (The CVS on Culver has a clinic).
We look forward to seeing you on the pool deck soon!
