Head Coach, Tom Norton

Coach Tom Norton has been varsity coach for University High School girl’s water polo for the past two years and spent two years as the assistant coach. Coach Norton is also the head coach for the boy’s water polo at Sage Hill High School. He played CIF Division I water polo for Olympic coach John Vargas at Corona del Mar High School and continued on to play NCAA Division I water polo at UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine.

Tom Norton has been coaching age group water polo at Corona del Mar High School for over 10 years. He has also been the assistant coach for the boys and girls water polo programs at Corona del Mar High School.

In 2004, Coach Tom Norton was the assistant coach for the women's water polo program at UC Irvine.

Assistant Coach, Flavia McBride

Flavia graduated from University High School in 2007 and was on the Varsity Water Polo and Swim team all four years. She received All-CIF three of those years and All-Pacific Coast league first team all 3 years. She was team captain her junior and senior year of water polo and received Defensive MVP her sophomore year and Team MVP her junior and senior year. Flavia went on to play water polo at Bucknell University for one year. This is her second year as one of the assistant coaches for University High School Girl's Water Polo.
